Crystallum Consecrare: Consecrated Crystal (Queen Anne’s Lace)
The Queen Anne’s Lace is also known as the beautiful wild carrot, a plant which escaped domestication. It is only logical that such a luscious root vegetable should be a treasure offered to us by the earth element. At the center of this plant is a single red flower, which is believed to have special healing properties.
Here we see the ingenious Raven in its fascination with the jewel-like red flower, as it often is with any sparkling object. In Native American mythology, it is believed that the Raven flew to the sun and brought it back to the Earth for us.
